Kit is a professional caregiver who, after a six-month suspension, obtains the only available job as a full-time caregiver for elderly Lenora, who is rumored to have murdered her entire family in 1929. Unusual occurrences transpire within the household, as the previous caregiver disappears without a trace. The chef and the housekeeper remain tight-lipped about the past and Lenora appears to be capable of more than what meets the eye. 

As the sea continually gnaws away at the mansion, causing it to deteriorate with every passing day, mysteries from decades prior gradually unravel, disbanding all the relationships involved.
