The Great Train Robbery by Michael Crichton (Avon Books)

I'm always entertained and relaxed by M. Chrichton's works.

The Great Train Robbery is a fictional account of a train heist in Victorian England. The novel is cinematic, exciting, atmospheric, and much more.

Edward Pierce is a master and charming criminal who meticulously plots a robbery. Of course, such a robbery necessitates a significant amount of time and a skilled team, but as we all know, it is impossible to rely on everyone.

Apart from the action, the details of Victorian culture, traditions, technology, and slang, which Chrichton skillfully portrays, piqued my interest.

The characters are also quite engaging, and the reader constantly roots for the robbers.

Very enjoyable book.
