The Close is the perfect balance between a crime novel and a romance.

At least three vulnerable adults have been residents for a time at 7  Jellicoe Close in the last six years, and no one seems to know where they are. It's up to DS Maeve Kerrigan and DI Josh Derwent to uncover the truth. Posing as a couple, they move into what appears to be a perfect neighborhood full of friendly people.

Soon the investigation turns into a murder investigation, and everything is not as it seems in The Close.

The novel is dynamic, full of lively protagonists, action, and smoldering passion between the two detectives.
