The Good Sister by Sally Hepworth (Hodder & Stoughton)

Librarian Fern is very sensitive person, with some special habits and carefully structured routines. Fern also strongly relies on her twin sister Rose. When Rose finds out that she can't have children, Fern wants to help. She just needs a father and she can pay back Rose for everything she has done to her. Especially for keeping a dreadful secret from their past.

What a great book, full of suspense, masterful twists and turns, but mostly warmth and love. Characters are well described, Fern and Wally are adorable, and Rose...well, you'll see. Great read!
