The Reckoning gives great insight to American history in Southeast of todays USA. Pioneers vs and with Native Americans and their way of living, hard to survive, fighting for their identity. And then pioneers who wanted to settle somewhere in their teritory.

Characters are well described in this 18. century historical fiction. 

I love it.
