The Good Neighbour by R. J. Parker (HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter)

Leah has an accident by the road, her telephone is dead, so she just knocks on the door of a nearby house. Martin Tate opens the door, very charming, helpful and polite and little she knows that he is a coldhearted murderer and not a homeowner as she first thinks. As it seems, he is a little obsessed with Leah and the game of life and death begins.

The story is a little too superficial for my taste, the characters are not credible, and I was quickly bored.
